Loni's Story
Loni, mother of two, is a language teacher who stumbled upon the world of baby wearing out of necessity. Living on the third floor of an apartment building with no elevator, she quickly found that a stroller was the most inconvenient part of her baby-transport system. Additionally, her first child who had reflux issues and was horrible at napping laying down, but she happily found that she could give him and herself some quiet sleep time if she carried him around while completing her daily tasks. However, Loni found frustration while shopping for carriers - overwhelmed by options and unsure of what would work best for which part of her day. From there on, she quickly fell in love with the multitude of textiles, colors, styles, and options for all aspects of life from grocery shopping to hiking in the mountains. She also found some failures in purchasing carriers that didn't fit her body well or caused pain and discomfort to her or her child after a few minutes of use.
Since then, Loni has been on a quest to learn more about baby-wearing and bring options and education to the Fort Collins community.
